The Law of the Provinces
Includes the following: the objective of the law; the organization of the provinces; the duties and tasks entrusted to the prince of each province, his deputy, the governors, administrators of townships, and chiefs of districts; the structure, powers, duties, and responsibilities of provincial councils; the qualifications of members, their duties, and privileges as well as their responsibilities; the provincial councils; and the organization of the relationship between ministries, government agencies, and provinces.
Regulations for Reconciliation Committees in the Provinces' Emirates
The Regulations cover the formation of reconciliation committees in each province, their responsibilities and membership, committee meetings, and the duties of the committee secretary. They also address the verification of requirements before the committee begins its work, documentation of reconciliation agreements, reconciliation for consideration, the financial officer, the committee’s annual report, and the Permanent Committee for Supervising the Committee’s Activities.
The Regulations also provide for the issuance of implementing decisions and stipulate that they shall come into force from the date of their approval.
