His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Eastern Province Governor, received in his office at the Emirate's headquarters today, Sunday, the President of the University of Hafr Al-Batin, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Bani Al-Harbi, alongside university vice presidents and the winners of the International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2026).
The Eastern Province Governor congratulated the winning students on their achievement, praising their excellence as a testament to the high caliber of national talent and the generous support provided to education, research, and innovation by the wise leadership—may God protect them. His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of continuing to support talented innovators and empowering them to compete on the global stage.
Prof. Al-Harbi presented a summary of the university's academic and research achievements, along with a report on the 12th graduation ceremony highlighting the institution's efforts in building national talent. He also reviewed the international accolades won at ITEX 2026 in Malaysia, where Dr. Nojood bint Muhammad Badiwi, student Sarah bint Saleh Al-Enezi, and student Muhammad bin Saad Al-Dalili secured several medals and international awards.
