
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al Ahsa Development Authority, chaired today (Thursday) the Board’s fourth meeting for 2026, held via video conference. The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al Ahsa, Board Member and Acting CEO of the Authority, along with other Board members.
His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of continuing to implement approved plans and programs and closely monitoring the progress and completion stages of projects. He highlighted the need to ensure integration across various initiatives, improve implementation efficiency, and maintain adherence to established priorities and timelines in line with the objectives of each phase and the current and future needs of Al Ahsa Governorate. He also noted the leadership’s continued attention to and oversight of development across the Kingdom’s regions.
During the meeting, the Board reviewed updates on the Authority’s programs and projects, including progress achieved across various implementation stages, completion rates, key developments and challenges, and measures taken to ensure continuity of implementation and improve performance efficiency in accordance with approved targets and timelines.
The meeting reflects the Board of Directors’ commitment to monitoring the progress of development programs and projects, enhancing institutional performance, and advancing comprehensive and sustainable development efforts in Al Ahsa Governorate, contributing to strengthening its position and competitive advantages and expanding its developmental and economic impact.
