His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, received today (Wednesday) at his office in the Emirate headquarters Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Jabr, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ta’afi Association for Recovery from Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, accompanied by members of the Board.
His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of continuing to develop programs for individuals in recovery and their families, while strengthening prevention and awareness efforts to help reduce the risks associated with drugs and psychotropic substances and raise awareness of their harmful effects.
Al Jabr presented an overview of the Association’s key activities, programs, and plans for the rehabilitation of individuals in recovery, supporting their families, and developing the care provided to them through psychological, social, and therapeutic programs. He also highlighted the activities of the Third International Scientific Forum, held under the theme “The Family in Confronting Addiction,” as well as awareness and prevention initiatives aimed at reducing the risks of drugs and psychotropic substances and raising community awareness of their harmful effects.
Al Jabr expressed his appreciation to His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province for his continued support and attention, affirming the Association’s commitment to continuing its efforts in rehabilitation, awareness, and prevention, as well as supporting individuals in recovery and their families.
