His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, received today (Monday) at his office in the Emirate headquarters Dr. Mohammed bin Mohsen Al Saggaf, President of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), accompanied by a number of vice presidents, college deans, and senior university officials, on the occasion of the start of the new academic year.
His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor emphasized that the leadership’s continued support and attention to the education sector reflect its commitment to investing in people and developing national capabilities. He also highlighted the importance of continuing to develop the educational environment and improve the quality of its outcomes in line with future requirements.
Dr. Al Saggaf presented an overview of the educational process and the University’s preparations for the start of the new academic year, as well as the arrangements and measures taken to ensure its readiness. These included preparing university facilities, completing the necessary requirements for the smooth commencement of classes, and ensuring the readiness of the academic and administrative environment. These efforts aim to ensure that the academic year proceeds with the highest level of readiness while providing students, faculty, and staff with a suitable and stimulating educational environment.
Dr. Al Saggaf expressed his appreciation to His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province for his continued attention and follow-up.
