His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, received His Excellency Eng. Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Jubair, Mayor of the Eastern Province, at his office at the Governorate’s headquarters today, Tuesday.
His Royal Highness highlighted the rapid pace of development across the region and the importance of continuing to enhance municipal services and improve quality of life during the next phase. He emphasized the need to keep pace with population and urban growth while strengthening the region’s competitiveness and attractiveness amid the development projects and initiatives underway across its cities and governorates.
Al-Jubair briefed His Royal Highness on the Municipality’s key activities and ongoing and future projects, including initiatives to enhance the urban landscape, improve municipal services, and increase the efficiency of facilities and infrastructure. He also reviewed several development and investment projects aimed at improving quality of life and maximizing the benefits of the region’s diverse assets and potential.
Al-Jubair expressed his thanks to His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor for his attention to and continued follow-up on the Municipality’s activities and projects. He affirmed the Municipality’s commitment to implementing initiatives and projects that contribute to the development of cities and governorates and enhance the quality of services provided to residents and visitors, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
