
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, received today, Tuesday, at his office at the Emirate headquarters, Eng. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Hasani, CEO of Dammam Airports, accompanied by a number of the company’s executives. His Highness was briefed on the key efforts and achievements of Dammam Airports.
HRH the Deputy Governor affirmed that the support and attention given by the wise leadership, may Allah protect them, to the aviation sector have contributed to developing the air transport system, enhancing infrastructure efficiency, and strengthening the competitiveness of Saudi airports. His Highness commended Dammam Airports’ notable achievements and outstanding performance indicators, which reflect operational efficiency and continuous development. He stressed the importance of continuing to improve services and enhance the passenger experience, supporting the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub and advancing the objectives of the National Aviation Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Hasani presented HRH the Deputy Governor with an overview of Dammam Airports’ key achievements and performance indicators for 2025. The airports recorded a record number of more than 14 million passengers, representing 7.2% growth compared with the previous year, in addition to receiving 28 local and international awards and accreditation certificates. He also highlighted several development projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, improving the quality of passenger services, and developing airport facilities to accommodate the continued growth in air travel.
