His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, reviewed a report on the launch of the new academic year 1448 AH in the region. This came during His Royal Highness’s reception today, Wednesday, at his office at the Governorate’s headquarters, of Dr. Mounira bint Badr Al-Mahashir, Director General of Education in the Eastern Province.

His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of providing a suitable educational environment at the start of the academic year by enhancing schools’ level of preparedness and readiness, ensuring the continuity of the educational process in a manner that meets the needs of male and female students, strengthening coordination among relevant entities, and activating partnerships with families and the community. These efforts support the quality of educational outcomes and contribute to the continued achievement of education objectives in line with the aspirations of the nation.

Al-Mahashir briefed His Royal Highness on the launch of the 1448 AH academic year, which commenced across schools in the region at the beginning of the week. She highlighted the measures introduced within the general education system to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen governance, flexibility, and sustainability, as well as improve the quality of educational services. She also highlighted efforts to strengthen integration among relevant entities and expand partnerships with the private and non-profit sectors, creating greater opportunities for investment in the education sector.
