His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received today, Monday, at his office at the Governorate’s headquarters, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Afaleq, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Ahsa Chamber, accompanied by the Board members of its 12th term (2025–2028).
His Royal Highness emphasized the important role played by the Al-Ahsa Chamber in representing the business sector and strengthening public-private partnerships. He highlighted the importance of developing initiatives that contribute to improving the business environment, supporting emerging enterprises, and leveraging the diverse assets and potential of the Eastern Province. These efforts contribute to attracting investment, creating development opportunities, enhancing the competitiveness of economic sectors, and supporting economic development in the region.
Al-Afaleq briefed His Royal Highness on the Chamber’s key achievements and the programs and initiatives it has implemented to support the business sector. He also highlighted its efforts to enhance the investment environment, empower entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and strengthen cooperation with government and private-sector entities, in addition to its future plans aimed at developing and expanding investment opportunities in the Eastern Province.
Al-Afaleq expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province for the attention, support, and care extended to the Al-Ahsa Chamber and the business sector. He affirmed that this support serves as an incentive to continue working as one team, launch initiatives, address challenges, strengthen the Chamber’s role in serving the local and national economy, and support the Governorate’s sustainable development journey.
