His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received today, Tuesday, at his office at the Governorate’s headquarters, Sheikh Mohammed bin Maroui Khawaji, Director General of the Eastern Province Branch of the General Presidency of the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice.
His Royal Highness emphasized the support and attention extended by the wise leadership to the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, highlighting its role in serving the community by promoting awareness of values and principles, fostering a culture of moderation and balance, and developing its awareness programs and initiatives in ways that enhance its performance and strengthen its impact on society.
Khawaji briefed His Royal Highness on the key activities and programs of the Presidency’s branch in the region, its responsibilities and functions, and the awareness and community initiatives it implements. He also highlighted the branch’s efforts to develop its operations and enhance its programs, utilize modern tools and technologies in carrying out its duties, and strengthen coordination and integration with relevant entities. These efforts contribute to improving operational efficiency, enhancing the quality of programs and initiatives, and achieving a positive impact on society.
