His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received today, Sunday, at his office at the Governorate’s headquarters, Mr. Ahmed bin Yahya Al-Abthani, Director General of the Eastern Province Branch of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).
Al-Abthani briefed His Royal Highness on the branch’s activities and efforts throughout 2025 in implementing standards, enhancing quality and product safety, and increasing compliance with approved requirements and standards. He also highlighted the branch’s development initiatives and programs, as well as its efforts to strengthen cooperation with relevant entities, contributing to consumer protection, improving service quality, and enhancing product competitiveness in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
