His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, reviewed today, Monday, at the Governorate’s headquarters, the readiness of education departments and plans to prepare the school environment for the new academic year 1448 AH. This came during His Royal Highness’s reception of Dr. Mounira bint Badr Al-Mahashir, Director General of Education in the Eastern Province, Mr. Tawashi bin Yousef Al-Kinani, Director General of Education in the Eastern Province, and a number of officials from the Ministry’s branch in the region.
His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of continuing preparations and coordinating efforts to ensure a successful start to the academic year, providing a safe and stimulating educational environment, and enhancing the quality of educational services. These efforts contribute to supporting students, improving educational outcomes, and raising the overall quality of the educational process in the region.
Dr. Mounira bint Badr Al-Mahashir, Director General of Education in the Eastern Province, delivered a speech affirming that the education sector is fully prepared for the launch of the 1448 AH academic year through comprehensive plans that ensure the continuity of the educational process, provide a safe and engaging learning environment, support gifted students, assist students with disabilities, and strengthen partnerships with families and the community. She noted that the new academic year will see the return of more than 1.05 million students and 49,000 teachers across the region.
Al-Mahashir expressed her thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province for his support and commitment to following up on the readiness of the education sector. She affirmed that efforts will continue to enhance the education system and strengthen its excellence, in line with the aspirations of the nation and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
