His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, reviewed the Saudi Red Crescent Emirate’s “Emergency Medical Endowment” Fund Project during his meeting today (Thursday) at his office in the Emirate headquarters with Dr. Khalid Al Anazi, Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Emirate branch in the Eastern Province.

His Royal Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province emphasized that emergency medical services are a vital component of the healthcare and humanitarian services system, providing rapid response to emergencies and contributing to saving lives and enhancing the efficiency of emergency medical services. He also highlighted the importance of initiatives that support the sustainability of these services and strengthen their capabilities.

Dr. Al Anazi presented an overview of the objectives of the Saudi Red Crescent Emirate’s “Emergency Medical Endowment” Fund Project, which aims to achieve financial sustainability and further develop humanitarian and emergency medical services across the Kingdom. He explained that the endowment will provide sustainable resources to support emergency medical services, advance their development, modernize emergency medical technologies, and expand humanitarian efforts across the region.
