سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية يطّلع على جهود وإنجازات بنك التنمية الاجتماعية بالمنطقة

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received officials from the Social Development Bank (SDB) at the Emirate headquarters to review the Bank’s efforts and achievements during 2025.

His Royal Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province emphasized the importance of continuing to develop programs and initiatives that keep pace with the Kingdom’s growth and provide innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and businesses. He noted that such efforts enable them to benefit from available economic opportunities, contribute to the national economy, improve quality of life, and create sustainable impact for the Kingdom and its citizens.

Mohammed bin Sami Al Mousa, Eastern Province Regional Director at the Social Development Bank, explained that the Bank provides a range of financing products for individuals and families and supports self-employment, entrepreneurs, businesses, and the nonprofit sector. It also provides non-financial services, including training, consulting, and capacity building, to empower individuals, transform ideas and skills into productive opportunities, promote financial independence, and create employment opportunities in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. He added that the Bank has introduced several programs and non-financial services to support such projects, including “Jada 30,” “Dulani Business Center,” and the “Empretec” Program, along with training packages aimed at promoting a culture of self-employment, savings and financial awareness, as well as vocational and professional training and other non-financial programs for beneficiaries.

Al Mousa noted that the next phase requires expanding both financial and non-financial solutions and developing more specialized programs that respond to beneficiaries’ needs and help transform ideas and early-stage projects into sustainable businesses. He also highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships with government entities, the private sector, and the nonprofit sector to coordinate efforts, facilitate beneficiaries’ access to financing, training, consulting, and support services, and improve the efficiency, growth, and competitiveness of projects, contributing to the national economy and expanding opportunities for the region’s citizens.

Al Mousa expressed his appreciation to His Royal Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province for his continued support and follow-up, affirming the Bank’s commitment to fulfilling its development mission and maximizing its impact across the region by advancing economic and social development and creating sustainable, high-quality opportunities for beneficiaries.
