
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received in his office at the Emirate's Diwan today, Monday, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Athar Association for Voluntary Work, Mr. Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Shalti, and the members of the association's board of directors.
HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province emphasized the importance of voluntary work and its role in enhancing community cohesion and consolidating the values of giving and social responsibility. HRH pointed out that voluntary work represents an important pillar in supporting development, contributing to the development of social capital and empowering community members to actively participate in serving their country, in alignment with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Shalti presented to HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province a presentation on the association's goals and the voluntary work tracks it adopts, along with the results it has achieved in promoting and spreading the culture of voluntary work in the region. He also highlighted the volunteer hours and tangible societal impact achieved, which reflects the contribution of male and female volunteers in supporting various community initiatives and programs, thereby contributing to the development of community participation and enhancing the values of giving.
