
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received today, Sunday, at his office at the Emirate headquarters, Major General Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahim Al-Furaidi, Director of the Military Health Cluster in the Eastern Province, on the occasion of his appointment. He was accompanied by Major General Aqeel bin Salman Al-Masoudi, Director of the Armed Forces Hospital in Dhahran, and Major General Ahmed bin Sultan Al-Mutairi, Director of the Armed Forces Hospital in Jubail.
HRH the Governor congratulated Major General Al-Furaidi on his appointment and wished him success. His Highness affirmed that the healthcare sector’s support and attention from the wise leadership, may Allah protect them, have contributed to significant advancements in the healthcare system, enhanced the efficiency of medical services, and developed healthcare infrastructure in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Furaidi explained that the establishment of the Military Health Cluster in the Eastern Province comes as part of the transformation programs being implemented by the Ministry of Defense and in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. He noted that selecting the Eastern Province as the first Military Health Cluster for the Ministry of Defense’s healthcare services reflects the region’s readiness and capabilities. He added that this marks the beginning of the transition phase for establishing the Military Health Cluster and providing integrated healthcare to beneficiaries.
