His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received today, Tuesday, at his office at the Emirate headquarters, Eng. Ahmed bin Mahdi Al-Yami, Director General of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services branch in the Eastern Province. Al-Yami presented HRH the Governor with a copy of the branch’s annual report, highlighting its key activities, projects, and initiatives implemented over the past year.
HRH the Governor highlighted the support and attention given by the wise leadership, may Allah protect them, to the transport and logistics sector, as a vital sector supporting economic development and a key enabler of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. His Highness noted that developing the transport and logistics system contributes to strengthening the Kingdom’s competitiveness, improving supply chain efficiency, facilitating the movement of people and goods, supporting economic growth, and enhancing quality of life.
Eng. Al-Yami presented HRH the Governor with an overview of the annual report, highlighting performance indicators, key completed projects, and development initiatives, as well as future plans aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the transport and logistics system in the Eastern Province.
