Governor Receives Ministry of Energy Branch Employees

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received at the Emirate's Diwan the employees of the Ministry of Energy branch in the Eastern Province to present the efforts and developmental projects of the electricity system in the region.

HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province praised the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Energy to develop the energy sector, in light of the support and attention this sector receives from the wise leadership—may God support it. He highlighted the continuous development and strategic projects that have contributed to enhancing the system's efficiency and raising the reliability of services in the Kingdom in general and the Eastern Province in particular. HRH pointed out that the upcoming projects enhance readiness to keep pace with the urban, industrial, and economic expansion witnessed by the region, which contributes to raising the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.

The General Supervisor of the Eastern Sector Branch and its affiliated centers at the Ministry of Energy, Mr. Saad bin Abdulrazzaq Al-Khuzaim, confirmed that the recent success of the Jubail Commercial Port in receiving the largest shipment in its history, consisting of wind turbines, is a clear embodiment of the integration of efforts among all government agencies in the region and their ability to implement developmental projects that translate the targets of the ambitious Saudi Vision.

Al-Khuzaim explained that the Ministry of Energy is working on developing an ambitious strategy to meet the rapid growth witnessed by the Eastern Province, with total investments reaching 58 billion riyals for current and future projects to enhance the reliability of the electrical grid in the region, alongside a commitment to raising the grid's efficiency by an increase of 20% to serve more than two million subscribers by 2030.

Al-Khuzaim expressed his thanks and appreciation to HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province for his continuous support and constant directives.
