His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received at the Emirate's Diwan the Commander of the Special Forces for Road Safety in the Eastern Province, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Obeid, accompanied by personnel from the region's Special Forces for Road Safety. HRH reviewed achievement reports, executed projects, and future plans aimed at enhancing the safety of road users across the cities and governorates of the region.
HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province praised the security and humanitarian efforts exerted by the Special Forces for Road Safety in fulfilling their duties, which contribute to enhancing security and reassurance on the roads. HRH emphasized the importance of continuously developing the road safety system, raising its readiness, and utilizing modern technologies to enhance traffic safety and protect road users. HRH also noted that the Eastern Province achieved first place in traffic safety at the Kingdom level, thanks to the integrated efforts of security agencies, including the Special Forces for Road Safety, the General Directorate of Traffic, and the Regional Police.
Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Obeid expressed his thanks and appreciation to HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province for his support and follow-up on the work of the Special Forces for Road Safety in the region.
