
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received in his office at the Emirate's Diwan today, Sunday, the Commander of the Special Force for Environmental Security in the Eastern Province, Colonel Ahmed bin Osman Al-Othman, who presented to HRH the annual report of the force's work in the region.
HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province emphasized the importance of the efforts exerted by the Special Force for Environmental Security in protecting the environment, preserving natural resources, and enhancing compliance with regulations and instructions. This contributes to safeguarding environmental gains and supporting sustainable development targets.
Colonel Al-Othman presented to HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province an overview of the force's most prominent tasks and operations in the Eastern Province. The annual report highlighted field and supervisory efforts to curb environmental violations, alongside awareness initiatives and programs aimed at raising environmental awareness and strengthening partnerships with relevant entities.
