His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, sponsored at the Emirate's Diwan today, Tuesday, the graduation ceremony of 578 male and female orphan students and widows who benefited from the Binaa Orphan Care Association's programs in the Eastern Province. The graduates completed bachelor's degrees, diplomas, high school diplomas, the "Mother Empowerment" program, and the "Tadmeen" graduate rehabilitation and employment program.
HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province emphasized that the attention and care given to orphans by the wise leadership—may God support it—embodies the blessed approach of this country in empowering orphans, enhancing their quality of life, and building their future. HRH pointed out the importance of continuing to support educational and rehabilitation initiatives and programs that contribute to building their capabilities and enabling them to continue their educational and professional journeys—enhancing their contribution to national development and aligning with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. HRH congratulated his graduating sons and daughters, wishing them success in their upcoming endeavors as active contributors serving their country and community.
The CEO of the Binaa Orphan Care Association in the Eastern Province, Dr. Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, delivered a speech expressing thanks and appreciation to HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province for his sponsorship of the ceremony and his continuous support for the association's work. He also thanked His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, and board members for their support in empowering orphans and building their futures. He confirmed that graduating 578 male and female beneficiaries embodies the fruition of years of support, care, and empowerment, detailing that 336 graduated from high school, 139 from university, 54 mothers benefited from the 9th batch of the "Orphan Mother Empowerment" program in partnership with Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (represented by the College of Applied Studies), and 20 beneficiaries entered the labor market through the "Tadmeen" graduate training and employment program.
Dr. Al-Khalidi explained that the university graduates included 84 diploma holders and 53 bachelor's degree holders, with 23 achieving honors and academic excellence across technical, cybersecurity, engineering, applied technologies, and health/medical sciences fields—aligning with labor market needs and reflecting the association's push to prepare qualified national talent. Furthermore, the graduation of the 9th batch of mothers through the 5-month, 250-training-hour program aimed at developing social, educational, economic, and vocational skills empowers families to effectively support their children's education and development, confirming that family empowerment represents the primary pillar for empowering children.
Students Sultan Aamri and Reuf Al-Harbi delivered a speech on behalf of their fellow graduates, expressing immense pride in the knowledge they acquired, expressing gratitude to HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province, the Binaa Association, its staff, and partners for their care and guidance throughout their educational journey, affirming their determination to serve their nation and contribute to achieving Saudi Vision 2030.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, HRH the Governor of the Eastern Province congratulated students who received educational scholarships in qualitative specialties funded by the association, commended all graduates, and honored success partners, supporters, and academic entities.
