His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received today (Wednesday) at his office in the Emirate headquarters Mohammed bin Musleh Al Ajmi, Chairman of the Saudi Association for Hearing Impairment, accompanied by a number of Board members.
His Royal Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province emphasized the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive environment for persons with disabilities that enables them to fulfill their needs and potential. He also highlighted the importance of developing programs and services, and leveraging modern technologies and innovative solutions to enhance their active participation in society and expand opportunities to benefit from their skills and capabilities across various fields.
Al Ajmi presented an overview of the Association’s key activities, programs, and initiatives serving persons with hearing disabilities, as well as its efforts in rehabilitation, empowerment, service development, and community participation. He also reviewed the project to establish a branch of the Association in the Eastern Province on its designated site. The planned branch will provide specialized services to persons with hearing disabilities and their families across the region’s governorates, helping expand access to services, empower beneficiaries, and enhance their quality of life.
