His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, sponsored today, Wednesday, at the Emirate headquarters, a ceremony honoring the entities that supported the “Biyadi” program, a vocational initiative for girls organized by the Dammam Secondary Industrial Institute in cooperation with a number of charitable and development associations in the region.
HRH the Governor emphasized the importance of initiatives that contribute to developing girls’ skills and preparing them professionally, enhancing their opportunities to participate in the labor market and supporting national development objectives focused on building human capabilities and empowering young talent with skills that meet the needs of various sectors.
Mashari bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani, Director General of Technical and Vocational Training in the Eastern Province, delivered a speech explaining that the “Biyadi” program reflects the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation’s efforts to expand specialized programs for women and strengthen partnerships with development and community organizations. He noted that the four-day program aimed to develop girls’ technical and vocational skills and enhance their capabilities in several vital fields. A total of 230 girls from various segments of society benefited from the program, which sought to improve their professional readiness and empower them to contribute effectively to the labor market.
