Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, opened today (Sunday) the 12th edition of “Jobs 2026,” organized by Asharqiah Chamber at the Dhahran Expo Center, with broad participation from government entities, private-sector organizations, and recruitment, training, and professional development companies.
His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor toured the exhibition pavilions and reviewed the employment opportunities, services, and professional programs offered by participating entities. He emphasized that the leadership’s continued support and attention to national talent reflect its commitment to empowering Saudi men and women. He also highlighted the importance of creating new pathways for national talent to access employment opportunities that meet their aspirations and align with the economic and developmental transformations taking place across the Kingdom, while providing an environment that enables their active participation in the labor market and contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy.
Fahad bin Abdullah Al Faraj, Chairman of the Board of Asharqiah Chamber, expressed his appreciation for the patronage of His Royal Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province and the attendance of His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor, noting that this support strengthens the exhibition’s position and its role in advancing employment and empowering national talent.
Al Faraj explained that the exhibition serves as a specialized platform bringing together a range of local companies and organizations and providing a direct space for communication between male and female job seekers, human resources professionals, and decision-makers. This facilitates access to employment opportunities and builds professional connections between national talent and employers.
He added that this year’s edition features broader participation across sectors and organizations, emphasizing that “Jobs” goes beyond providing employment opportunities and offers an integrated platform to support job seekers throughout their journey—from exploring available opportunities to career guidance, professional development, and skills building.
Al Faraj noted that the diversity of participating entities and the wide range of represented sectors reflect the growing demand for national talent and provide young Saudi men and women with an opportunity to gain a closer understanding of labor market needs and promising career paths. He added that Asharqiah Chamber continues to develop such platforms to strengthen integration between the public and private sectors and contribute to localization objectives and the empowerment of national talent.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor honored the sponsors and supporters of “Jobs 2026” in recognition of their contributions to the success of the exhibition and their support for initiatives and projects aimed at expanding employment opportunities and developing and empowering young Saudi men and women.
The organization of “Jobs 2026” builds on Asharqiah Chamber’s longstanding efforts in employment and job localization, which began with the launch of employment exhibitions in 2013. Over the years, these exhibitions have provided platforms connecting national talent with employers and introducing job seekers to opportunities available across various sectors.
