His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, congratulated the winning students at the International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2026) on their honorable achievements. His Royal Highness emphasized that this success reflects the great care given by the wise leadership—may God protect them—to supporting talented individuals and innovators, enabling them to compete in international forums and boosting the Kingdom's leading position in innovation and scientific research.

This came during His Royal Highness's reception in his office at the Emirate's headquarters today, Sunday, of the President of the University of Hafr Al-Batin, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Bani Al-Harbi, accompanied by university vice presidents, several senior officials, and the winning students.

Prof. Al-Harbi presented a brief to the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province detailing the key achievements of Hafr Al-Batin University in education and innovation, as well as its efforts to support national talent and align with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. He highlighted the university's performance at ITEX 2026 held in Malaysia, where Dr. Nojood bint Muhammad Badiwi, student Sarah bint Saleh Al-Enezi, and student Muhammad bin Saad Al-Dalili secured several international medals and awards.

Prof. Al-Harbi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province for his continuous support and interest in the university, affirming that this backing motivates staff and students to achieve further success across education, research, and innovation.
