The Quality of Life Program aims to improve the quality of life of citizens, residents, and visitors by developing cities, enhancing the urban environment, expanding cultural, tourism, entertainment, and sports opportunities, developing facilities and services, and promoting community participation.

The Program’s Relevance to the Eastern Province

The Eastern Province Emirate works in coordination with relevant entities to support projects and initiatives that enhance the region’s attractiveness, improve the quality of the urban environment, and support tourism, culture, and community activities.

Related Initiatives and Activities

The initiatives include developing tourism destinations, supporting events and festivals, promoting cultural and handicraft activities, and implementing health and social programs and community-focused initiatives.

Key Achievements

• The region witnessed the launch of the International City project in Dammam as an investment and tourism destination.
• The 24th edition of the Nairiyah Spring Festival was also launched, along with the opening of the Eastern Province Handicrafts Exhibition and the launch of the 8th edition of the Crafts and Handicrafts Exhibition.
• The efforts also included the implementation of the Eastern Province Pink Campaign, the seasonal influenza vaccination campaign, the Diabetes Under Control campaign, and the Eastern Province Visionary Initiative.
